Snow In Castaic, January 2011

Today, the Santa Clarita Valley got a rare snow day. There really hasn't been any measurable snowfall in the Santa Clarita Valley since 1987 or 1988. One of those two years. That's a long time to wait. The sunshine, can get a bit boring. So, when something more rare than a large Earthquake happens, it's worth talking about, and breaking out every mobile device available to record it. Something we couldn't do, back in 87/88.

A marriage, and a few kids later, snow finally fell on my head again, here in Santa Clarita. About time Mother Nature, about time.
